Who's behind this site?

Hi I'm Greg Simon.

Fitness training & nutrition researching since 1982. Surfer. Organic food & wine grower. Guitarist & music producer. Congenital heart disease survivor (so far).

My website is about embracing the physically active lifestyle as we age (I'm over 60...look at him go, haha).

I write about all sorts of fitness & nutrition topics, and share any relevant facts drawn from the sports science & medical research communities.

I also post my experiences product-testing & evaluating home gym equipment.

I've had multiple open heart surgeries and lots of related hospitalizations & procedures since I was born.

Every day of our lives has its own set of challenges, doesn't it?
